Blizzard Entertainment has held word and published the update 12 (also known as Update 2.3) for Diablo 2 Resurrected. The download is available on both the PC and on consoles and should actually take place at the next game start — if necessary, you can also start it manually.
It is a very extensive update, which has especially for the PC version some fans for a long time desired features in the luggage. For example, a function called Force Move is ready, which sends the character to a specific location at the touch of a button, without having to go to a monster or similar destination for this. Also, new is the Quick Cast : Here it follows a feature that triggers on hotkeys stored skills without selecting them in the interface. The result of this is a non-negligible time savings and thus a better play flow.
But the owners of the console versions of Diablo 2: Resurrected do not expire empty. Above all, the PVP fans can look forward to a new optical display for missed attacks. Furthermore, the update 2.3 includes numerous optimizations, bug fixes and smaller changes. The detailed patch notes for the PC version as well as the console variant can be found on the official website.
Diablo 2: Resurrected was released on September 23, 2021, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Switch. You can find the test for the new devil hunt on Quick Cast here.
