Rookie Franz Wagner has taken care of the prelocer of the Allstar weekend of the Basketball Profiliga NBA in the final of the Rising Stars tournament for the decision.
With a free throw at 25:20, the 20-year-old from Orlando Magic in Cleveland / Ohio finished the show game under young professionals between the “Team Barry” and the “Team Isiah”.
Wagner found the experience “really cool”. It was great to “feel the energy in the arena and play with guys, with whom I usually do not make”. He could lead in the few hours at the event “many conversations with many different people”.
Four teams arrived at the Challenge, Wagner banged the team of Gary Payton 50:48 in the semifinals with the selection of former NBA Champions Rick Barry. While 50 points to win were needed in the first round, the final was only up to 25. Thus, the league appreciated her 75th anniversary.
As so far last German, Wagner’s older brother Moritz (24) 2020 participated in the Rising Stars Challenge of NBA. The Berliners play together for Orlando this season.
